Future Age Consulting Inc. was founded in 1999 on the Buddhist principle that all things are interconnected, every individual to each other and to the environment; that each thought, deed, and word powerfully affects both individuals and their respective surroundings.
Our corporate mission is grounded in a win-win philosophy. Our work in aging radiates our commitment to disempower myths and misunderstandings about older age, helping to dismantle the destructive cycle of inequality and injustice perpetuated by social fears of the natural aging process, in turn creating a positive cycle of success and growth rooted in respect and understanding. By reshaping our notions about growing older, and by becoming more knowledgeable and better educated about transgenerational commonalities and differences, we become better corporate citizens, empowered through interconnections with the world community.
The name of our firm shares a triple meaning: "Future Age" refers to our collective future in literal time passage, to the current older population already of a "future age," and to the future aging of the 76 million strong baby boom generation. Future Age Consulting Inc. seeks to heal the disconnect between older persons and the businesses that serve them while promoting and facilitating educated preparedness for the diverse needs and expectations of the coming Future Age.
